Our paper has been accepted for publication in Nature Communications
We are thrilled to announce that our latest research paper on multimodality imaging has been accepted for publication in Nature Communications. This groundbreaking study showcases the exceptional work and dedication of our graduate student, Shensheng Zhao, and undergraduate students Jonathan Hartanto and Rutin Joseph. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and contributions to this research.
Our paper new paper is published in Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology
We are excited to announce our latest research paper on nanobubble, and multimodality molecular imaging has been published by Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology. The paper focuses on the photoacoustic enhancement effect of nanobubbles, offering potential advancements in photoacoustic molecular imaging. We are incredibly proud of the contributions and accomplishments of our graduate student Shensheng Zhao and undergraduate student Leanne Lee in advancing this research. Once again, congratulations to Shensheng Zhao and Leanne Lee!

We have opening positions!
Postdoctoral Fellows:
We currently have one position opening. All applicants should have a Ph.D. and/or MD as well as peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognized journals. Candidates with a strong background in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, radiology, optics, biology, or nanotechnology are encouraged to apply.
Graduate Students:
We are actively looking for exceptionally qualified graduate students with a background in Electrical Engineering, Bio-engineering, Biology, Applied Physics, or Material Science to join our lab.
Undergraduate Students:
We welcome UIUC undergraduates who are interested in gaining research experience in the areas of medical imaging, nanotechnology, diagnostic devices. Please note that we generally discourage short-term projects (single semester) since there is a significant amount of training required prior to participating in one of our research programs. Students, who are interested in long-term (one year or more) intensive research projects, are encouraged to contact Prof. Yun-Sheng Chen.
